He witnessed the battle between Inuyasha and Bankotsu. He is the only brother of three older sisters, which prompts Miroku to directly offer to help one of them and her sisters "bear sons," which naturally incurs the instant wrath of Sango. This sister wonders out-loud if she and her sisters can safely entrust Shintarō with Miroku as they all shy away from him.
