- Criminal bombers are unlike any other criminals, except poisoners. They plan meticulously, nurse long grudges and retaliate far out of proportion to any injury they feel they've received.
- the Bomber was developed by Everett industries to act as a partner for the Ecliptic Developed Interceptor and has not found a successor since its development, it did not see action until RED-ARMS Anti-Fighter ships took down numerous amounts of interceptors after the fighter retaliation break through in Eclipse a year later. The Bomber is well equipped for anti-ship combat and withstanding anti-fighter barrages, the bomber (though not equipped with anti-fighter capabilities) can evade RED-ARMS fighters with it's speed, and take on fighter threats with it's single defense turret. 2 bombardiers control each pylon of the fighter making the bomber's effectiveness in battle, very high.

The Stuka, used by the Germans during World War II, was designed to be a dive-bomber. In an alternate timeline, the Na'kuhl outfitted Stukas with plasma cannons and used them as fighters despite their design. (ENT: "Storm Front, Part II") In the mirror universe, the B-1B Lancer was a bomber used in that universe's history. (ENT: "In a Mirror, Darkly")
- A Bomber is a military aircraft designed to attack ground and sea targets by dropping bombs on them, firing torpedoes at them, or – in recent years – by launching cruise missiles at them. Bombers typically have considerable endurance in order to carry heavy payloads from an arsenal to targets in hostile territory. However, they must defend against more maneuverable interceptor aircraft and ground anti-aircraft positions, to which their heavier armor affords protection, while mounted guns allow for close-range defense. Other escort aircraft can also engage these threats, allowing the bombers to focus on their primary mission of destroying targets below.

The explosion sends nearby lemmings flying and stuns them temporarily, and also leaves a hole in the ground (unless it is steel).

- Bombers are that can be launched from air bases or carriers. Bombers fuel range covers at least 3 quarters of the map, and thus are the second longest ranged air unit (after the ICBM). They are also more resistant to Missile Silos' as well as battleships' missiles in air defence mode, but are vulnerable to fighter attacks. They are the slowest of all air units. Lastly, they are the only way to launch a Nuclear Missile without alerting the other players (with the radiation sign on the map). Bombers have two modes:

- __NOEDITSECTION__ The bomber is used primarily to destroy any planetary defense: its high rapid fire against most defensive structures makes it effective for planetary assaults. Hyperspace engines are added when Hyperspace Drive level 8 is reached.
- Bombers are used to travel at very high speeds to deliver a large payload of high-yield explosives directly over the target area at high or low altitudes. While bombers are capable of pinpoint airstrikes with single warheads, they prefer to deploy large numbers of bombs in a "rolling barrage", wherein their payloads are dropped in the approach leading to the target area as well as on the target itself. This creates a large swath of destruction that destroys all in its path.

It was made available to him following the "Point Beyond the Brink" cutscene after the mission "Bring supplies to the galleon", wherein Jak was made both an honorary pirate and official helmsman of the Phantom Blade. It was the first of two ex-Aeropan planes Jak would acquire, the other being the Interceptor.

- Bombers are enemies from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. These enemies resemble mushrooms and have the power of flight. They are found in many areas of Koholint Island, particularly near bodies of water. They attack by dropping Bombs that explode shortly after deployment near Link's current location. When Link swings his sword at them, they dodge his attacks. Link can defeat them by using the Roc's Feather to jump near them and then swinging his sword; this is usually a long process however, making it simpler for Link to avoid them altogether.
- Bomber is an enemy that appears in the Kirby series. He is a weak, accident-prone missile-type enemy with legs and a skull painted on either side. His metallic-looking exterior is actually really delicate, so one wrong move and he shatters, leaving his highly flammable insides to erupt out of the cracks in his damaged body, creating an explosion and instantaneously taking out Bomber in the process. This explosion KOs all enemies on-screen, though it will only hurt Kirby if he gets too close. Bomber is often perched dangerously close to the edge of a platform and then falls off promptly after Kirby comes on-screen.

- Short Description The bomber was developed especially to destroy the planetary defenses of a world. Long Description Over the centuries, as defenses were starting to get larger and more sophisticated, fleets were starting to be destroyed at an alarming rate. Note: Requirements: Shipyard level 8, Impulse Drive level 6 (or Hyperdrive level 8), Plasma Technology level 5
- Bombers are Strike Craft designed to engage and destroy large heavily armored targets such as Capital Ships, Titans, Starbases, Orbital Structures and Heavy Cruisers. Bombers are vulnerable to Fighters and to a lesser extent Anti-Strike Craft Frigates. However, when deployed in large quantities (40-150 squadrons) from fleets of Squadron Support Cruisers, they can wreak severe havoc on high-value enemy assets before fighters and flak are able to make a dent in their numbers; the bombers themselves are of little value since carrier cruisers can rebuild them automatically at no financial cost (although they do need antimatter). This can be mitigated by using abilities such as Telekinetic Push and Jam Weapons to buy time for fighters to thin the bomber swarm, or destroying the carriers, which
- The Bomber is the first Bomber Aircraft and becomes available in the Modern Age. Purchasable from an Airbase Bombers can be used to raze enemy structures, stationary ground vehicles or slow-moving targets with brutal results. Bombers pack a lot of health than their faster cousins, the Fighter, but they travel slower as a result. Another weakness laya to their vulnerability to enemy fighters and ground based anti-aircraft, the former capable of eating away a wing of bombers. Escorts of friendly Fighters are advised.
- The Bomber, also known as Suiciders or Kamikazes, is a Grunt with an explosive barrel strapped to its back. It usually appears as the same type as the primary Grunt of the Realm it's found in, but Grunts from other areas (typically Orcs) are not unheard of. This is a suicidal monster, who, upon sighting a hero, will unleash a mighty (and distinctive) roar and charge. If the Bomber reaches the hero, it'll explode; if not, it'll do so anyway after a short time. This creature can only attack by a suicide run. Shooting the Bomber will detonate its explosive package, damaging everything in range; obviously, it's ideal to do this when the Bomber is in a crowd of its fellow monsters.
