| - G'llem Harkas was born into the royal family of the Anari system, a cousin of the King. In his extreme youth, he was brought into the Jedi Order, and was an advanced Padawan during the Clone Wars. He was seduced by the Dark Side and joined the Inquisitorius. In approximately 8 BBY, High Inquisitor Harkas returned to the Anari system and deposed his cousin. He took the name Vintari IX and ruled as King G'llem Harkas Vintari. Though he payed lip service to the Emperor, Harkas' monarchy attracted the suspicions of fellow Inquisitor Seren Mordavo. In the ensuing investigation, Mordavo disappeared; following the deaths of his wife and apprentice, he had been defeated by Harkas and compelled to serve. Eventually, Harkas took as hie royal consort was a young-looking woman who secretly helped Seren in various efforts. Harkas was also a close associate of Quinis Asanis, who Seren detested, and of many other founding members of the Detori Order. However, the Detori would not be organized as such until after his death. Before his consort became pregnant with Jace Vintari in 2 ABY, Harkas wanted to ensure his regime's stability through a plethora of secret heirs. His genetic material was secretly swapped in for samples at in vitro fertilization clinics, when the mother had Force-sensitive relatives or sensitivity of her own. Two of the resulting children were Moroiniy Traverts and his sister Jessamin. After Harkas' death, the sector fell into disrepair, but was reorganized by Quinis Asanis into the Anari Alliance. After a conquest by the Sith Empire and then by the Jedi under Adam Sage, Jace Vintari was recognized as prince of the Anari Commonwealth.
