Synopsis
  • Superboy freaks out when he notices that the pimple on his face has gotten bigger. He's preparing to meet Tana Moon at a fancy restaurant, although Roxy Leech promises that he will be hers one day. He freaks again when he realizes that he's got only ten minutes to get to the restaurant. Tana arrives and is seated, confidant that her Superboy will be there on time. As he flies to meet Tana, Superboy spots a wrecked car, but when he flies in close, it's a trap set by Copperhead. The assassin is still sore over his last encounter with the Kid, when Superboy prevented Copperhead from killing Roxy. Superboy tries to fight Copperhead, but the snake-man gives him a major pasting. He even manages to pierce the Kid's skin. As the fight goes on, Superboy continues to get weaker. Copperhead closes in for the kill, but SB manages to throw him off a cliff. Copperhead disappears, and Superboy flies off. Tana has been waiting at the restaurant all night and is very upset that Superboy is late. When he finally gets there, he is in terrible shape--his face looks like it may be melting.
