  • The UNSCDF Corps of Gendarmerie, or UNSC Army Corps of Gendarmerie, is a branch of the UNSC Army charged with supplementing officers and TAR personnel of the UEG Department of Law Enforcement in maintaining public safety and performing police functions. The Corps is composed of trained Military Police (MP) officers, drawn from regular Army formations for Gendarme service. The Gendarmerie are primarily tasked with high-priority security functions and support of civil Law Enforcement in high-risk operations, although they may be expected to perform other tasks, such as disaster relief, at request. Under states of martial law Gendarmes perform regular police functions alongside officers, while during wartime, Gendarmerie formations may be folded into Colonial Guard or Regular Army formations, acting as supplementary combat forces to militia and regular military personnel.
