He also tacked on a 24th place finish at Hillsboro to close out the year. Reynolds' next pair of races came during the 1951, when he started off at Morristown. It was a solid day for the driver, finding his way to a solid 6th place finish. He also ran well in his first start at Langhorne, finishing 14th. Reynolds' final ten races came during the 1952 season, when he was 24th in points. It was a fantastic season for the driver, recording six top-tens. He improved on his previous career-best finish, garnering a pair of fourths at Langhorne and Niagra Falls. The other top-tens came at Owego (8th) and a trio of ninths at Dayton, Toledo, and Langhorne (his final career start). However, five DNFs during the year hampered his efforts further and it would be the last year of his career.
