Vedor (the second) was a Falah'd of Y'Ghatan. There had been two brothers named Vedor who had held this position...the first, the "fish-faced one", was found dead in his lover's bed, and the second, the "ferret-faced one", took over as the ruler of Y'Ghatan thereafter - the death of the first brother probably being of the second brother's doing. Vedor (the second) had a sallow sunken face with murky eyes, which Corabb Bhilan Thenu'alas identified as a sign of Vedor being an addict of the D'bayang poppy. Vedor also had thick veined hands.
