Systematic Paleontology Order: Goniatitida Superfamily: Neoicocerataceae Family: Anuitidae Anuitidae is a family of ammonoid cephalopods in the Neoicocerataceae that lived during the Permian. Shells are somewhat barrel-like, subcadicone to cadicone; whorls moderately evolute; umbilicus wide, stairstep-like. The lateral lobe is very wide; the umbilical lobe shows a threefold division varying from weakly to distinctly developed.
