They are not usually possible to trade to other players, but there are some exceptions. Notably, the broken shields must be traded with another player in order to complete Shield of Arrav. In situations where it is not normally possible to obtain multiple copies of the same quest item, the drop trick can usually be used.

  • A quest item is an item that is related to a quest or mission. Often, the objective of the quest involving the quest item is simply to deliver the item to another NPC in a different location (such as delivering a message). In another case, you may need to explore an area to find a certain quest item, and then return it to the NPC who gave you the quest for a reward. If you come across a quest item while exploring and don't have a quest to go with it, it's a good idea to hold on to the quest item; you should find the quest involving it later on. • Quest items are that kind of items that you can get only as you do quest require those items. There is no way to get that items as you are not doing quest. Good example would be cloud phantom from white ghost spirits at low lvl quest. There is no way to get those before you'll get that quest and there is no way to get those after you done it. As nearly all other items they stack. Stacks are standard: 99pcs, or 999pcs - in traveler quest. Quest items are always titled with "Quest" and "Bound". After quest finished, they disapear from your inventory. ___________________________
