A'tin Bes'ulik Ordo was born 3,963 BBY during the Mandalorian Wars. His father was a key figure in the Mandalorian forces, and left him with their Mother, Kaiyn Ordo. She was forced to leave the cruiser Night of Fire and take him to a safer place. At the time, the Mandalorians were openly engaging the Republic, and Kaiyn didn't want her newborn child to be killed. She fled the cruiser, taking only a small ship with her. As she raised her child, he did not have a father, and was not raised as most Mandalorians were. Under constant pressure, A'tin was raised under harsh conditions. The Mandalorian Wars spread wide, and affected many Mandalorian planets.

  • A'tin Bes'ulik Ordo was born 3,963 BBY during the Mandalorian Wars. Even after the Mandalorian Wars, it was tough to raise a child. He had to accompany her on various bounty hunting missions, and lived a life of danger. Kaiyn constantly reminded her son that this was not the life they should lead as A'tin became an adult. She warned him to always look out for the best interests of the Mandalorian people and to always heed the call of the Mand’alor. In a life of bounty hunting, he couldn't much grasp those concepts since he had never been introduced into full Mandalorian society. Finally, Kaiyn decided to take A'tin back to Mandalore and raise him properly. But just outside the Mandalore System, a band of pirates attacked them. They reeled the small ship into their freighter's hangar bay with a tractor beam. Now trapped, Kaiyn gave her life for her son. A'tin had no intention of becoming a slave, and picked up the rifle of the dead pirates their mother had killed. He fought through the freighter, killing most of its crew, and commandeered an escape pod. Heeding his mother's advice, A'tin traveled to Mandalore, not too far away. The pod crashed, and he made his way to Keldabe, the capital of Mandalore. After traveling for two days, he reached the city and was found by a single Mandalorian, Jintas Feyhar. Jintas adopted the kid, and taught him how to be a 'true Mandalorian'. He would take A'tin hunting, and he soon took a liking to it. But after two months of staying with Jintas, A'tin was made his farm hand. Jintas had owned several crops and needed workers. The kid didn't mind it, but it soon became too much. When he turned twenty, A'tin decided that he didn't want to be a farm hand any longer. It wasn't the life he wanted. Several planets of the Republic had declared Mandalorians criminals charged with 'war crimes' for the cities and planets they had razed during the Mandalorian Wars. Certain military forces had hunted Mandalorians at this weak time in their history, despite the Republic's fragile state. A'tin remembered what his mother had told him, and wanted to fight alongside the rest of the Mandalorian Fleet as they regained their strength.
