| - Irin Tholl was born and raised during his early years on Coruscant, the heart of The Galactic Empire. The son of a distinguished Imperial Commander and heir to the Vel Aadren family empire, Irin and his younger sister Kistra where educated by the best private on-planet tutors, his future lying in a career within the Imperial Navy. With the death of his father at the Battle of Endor and the subsequent crumbling of The Empire, Irin and his family fled Coruscant during the uprising. Almost a year after settling on a backwater planet in the outer rim territories, political unrest and a pirate takeover ended with the death of his grandparents, mother and both carers. Barely suriviving the onslaught, the young Irin Tholl and his sister managed to reach a traders outpost where they bartered safe passage to Corellia, the planet on which they managed to spend the next few years working for various smuggling groups and traders. Eventually in his teenage years Irin and his sister began working for Fenn Herand, a small time intelligence broker and cargo smuggler who managed to turn every opportunity of illegally acquiring intelligence and supplies for both The Empire and New Republic forces into a reputation that would see his corporation become one of the largest and wealthiest smuggling groups in the galaxy. Time spent with Herand saw him fall in love and marry Irin's sister. Upon the marriage of Kistra to Fenn Herand, Irin Tholl departed Corellia, leaving the Herand Corporation to work with a covert Intelligence Organisation, hired by an unknown but powerful officer within the Imperial Navy. Irin and his personal ship the Raptor flew many missions, helping to smuggle supplies to various Imperial colonies trapped on the Republic side of the border regions and also gather intelligence on Republic forces activity. During this time Irin's hatred for the Rebellion led his desire to join The Empire and rid the galaxy of the poisonous Rebellion once and for all. His planned journey to Bastion was cut short when the Navicomputer of his ship was damaged, leading him to seek repairs onboard the popular Drifter's Paradise pleasure cruiser. Here he managed to affect repairs and also met his close friend, Saranka. Her desire to reach Coruscant led to Irin's return to his home planet since The Coruscant Uprising. After his time on Coruscant, Irin resumed his course for Bastion where he was successfully initiated into The Imperial Navy. Irin's recruitment had been handled in part by Tatiana Renkyl-Rayner, Grand Admiral of the Imperial Forces - who eventually rose to Empress during her time in The Empire. Tatiana had previously worked with Irin's Father, Commander Sarkin Tholl and it was this connection that seen the Empress form a mentor relationship with the younger Tholl. Their relationship developed into a friendship and after seven years of service, Irin climbed the Imperial Rank system, becoming Fleet Admiral of the Imperial Military under the mentor and tutelage of Tatiana. Upon his ascention in rank, Irin was given command of the Imperial Star Destroyer Vengeance, the second most powerful vessel in the Imperial Fleet after the Flagship - Super Star Destroyer Pruvail. Upon Tatiana's rise to Empress of The Empire, Irin has worked closely with her successor - Grand Admiral Aram Kalast who's tactical genius and unwaivering determination will see the end of the Rebellion's hold on the galaxy once and for all. During his attempts to negotiate military protection with various non-affiliated planets, the news that his sister and her husband had been murdered almost ripped Irin apart. Taking the matter into his own hands in a very private way, Irin hired Cauld Durl to seek out and identify the murderer, who has since been identified as a force user - Killian Also during his mission visiting distant worlds, a relationship started to blossom between Irin and a highly respected dancer and former Handmaiden, Nadgkema An'Telkis - an Onderonian who's business was now conducted from the planet Ruusan. His subsequent escort to Ruusan and her visit to Bastion cemented a relationship that soon turned romantic. During Nadgkema's trip to Bastion, Irin's close friend Saranka paid the Imperial Admiral a visit, bringing with her a surprising revelation that was a source of both joy and confusion for Irin. Learning that he had a nephew - Keith Tholl Herand, Irin immediately took on the role of guardian for the boy and sole provider. Over the weeks following Keith's appearance, details regarding plots of officers within The Empire's government and military forces came to light that ultimately convinced Irin to leave the faction for good. With help from his closest family and friends, the former Imperial Admiral devised a plan that would ensure The Empire would no longer interfere in his life. The final step to disappear came with a price and after a dangerous battle with hired assassins, news of Irin's death has spread amongst the upper echelons of Imperial government. Meanwhile, Irin himself is currently off the grid, hiding on Coruscant whilst focusing on the next phase of his plan.Family
Commander Sarkin Tholl was a distinguished and decorated commander within the Imperial Navy, carrying on the Tholl line of Navy officers by attending the prestigious Academy on Carida and eventually working his way up the ranks to command the Imperial Star Destroyer Devastator. Sarkin Tholl was killed during The Battle of Endor, an event that would eventually lead to the destruction of his family's life on Coruscant and the future of his children. Varia Tholl was the heir to the Vel Aadren family corporate empire, one of the largest and most influential suppliers to The Imperial Navy before The Empire's demise. Upon her husbands death and the Coruscant Uprising, Varia Tholl, her parents and her children managed to escape Coruscant - travelling many lightyears to a small planet within the outer rim territories. The volatile conditions that arose during the months following The Empire's demise saw the death of both Varia and her parents, leaving her children, Irin and Kistra alone. The death of the Vel Aadren family has left Irin Tholl and his sister orphaned, although there does exist members of the Tholl family that Irin has not yet encountered.
