The Cult of the Dark One (also known as the Cult of Amon Tillado) was a secret cultist society mentioned in Quest for Glory: Shadows of Darkness. Its followers worshiped the Dark One Avoozl. The cult was founded by The Mad Monk Amon Tillado, who build a monastery dedicated to Avoozl in the Town of Mordavia. Some say those cultists became the disfigured monsters known as Chernovy, wandering the swamp area at night.

  • The Cult of the Dark One (also known as the Cult of Amon Tillado) was a secret cultist society mentioned in Quest for Glory: Shadows of Darkness. Its followers worshiped the Dark One Avoozl. The cult was founded by The Mad Monk Amon Tillado, who build a monastery dedicated to Avoozl in the Town of Mordavia. Eventually, the cultists tried to summon Avoozl inside the cave underneath a mountain, but something went wrong and they all went missing. Nobody ever found the Mad Monk's grave, thought to be the resting place for the summoning ritual. The Monastery became abandoned since then, and soon thereafter, strange things started occurring all over Mordavia. This was just before the Hero arrived there. Some say those cultists became the disfigured monsters known as Chernovy, wandering the swamp area at night.
