The most common Forest event is a fight with a Forest Monster. Dealing with these monsters is the bread and butter of your LORD day. Occasionally (1 in 27 chance among successful strikes) a forest monster may pull out a Death Crystal and use it to kill your horse. A creature that makes a successful attack on you (i.e. causes even 1 point of damage) may use the crystal to kill your horse. You will kill the monster automatically, but you may subsequently die yourself if you took too much damage from the strike.
