The Smith & Wesson Model 1006 is a third-generation double/single action, semi-automatic pistol which was introduced in 1980 by the American company Smith & Wesson. The Model 1006 features a stainless steel frame and slide, 9+1 round maximum capacity, slide mounted de-cock/safety, 5 in. barrel (127 mm) and is available with fixed or adjustable sights. The Model 1006 is chambered for the 10mm Auto.
