Aikanar wanted, more than anything, to have his place as heir to the family name and his father's love. Aikanar believed, or has perhaps forced himself to believe, that eradicating the Jedi will make these wishes come true. This determination stands in contrast with other Sith, who are motivated mostly by cruelty or political ambition. Aikanar has many numerous contradictory traits, beliefs, and behaviors. For example, he is domineering and controlling, a result of being raised as Noldar royalty, and disdains working with people that he believes are inferior to him. Despite this, he adamantly refuses to view people as expendable. It was Aikanar's belief that it is wrong to sacrifice able-bodied and willing troops as a diversionary tactic which led to his expulsion from the family name when he voiced his opinion and angered his father. Aikanar believes that a person becomes strong by having to struggle and fight for what they want. He also has expressed contrasting beliefs, in that he does not want to have good luck, because he feels he can control his own fate, but also believes that he is marked unlucky and that the world is against him. Aikanar's reaction to this perception of the world always being set against him is defiance in the form of an iron will and inflexible determination. Nevertheless, he seems to be adverse at the thought of harming others where there is no motive for doing so or nothing to gain in the end. He also shows compassion to those close to him. Aikanar is clever, yet hot-headed, often letting his temper get the best of him. He rarely thinks his situations through, causing him to get in trouble.Background
Born into a an ancient dynasty, Aikanar was raised to be heir to an important family. But a few words spoken out of line served to exile him from the family. He believes that the only way he can regain his lost honor is by eradicating the Jedi from the galaxy. So he found his way to the Sith, with whom his family was always closely tied. He searches for a teacher now, so he can learn what skills he needs in order to regain his honor.Family
Feanor is Aikanar’s father. He also has a brother called Angrod. Feanor has banished Aikanar from their family, which is an ancient line, until such a time as Aikanar wipes out the last of the Jedi, for the Line of Feanor is closely tied with the Sith. Feanor is cruel and cunning, motivated by personal gain and the lust for power. Angrod is just like Feanor in personality. Second in line to the throne, he now stands ready as heir to their line. Aikanar is more like his mother, who died of political execution.
