- Doctor Bernard is a physician for the Wild Willows Manor, and serves as the acting guild master of the Aleroth Healers' Guild, because the official guild master, Deodatus, is preoccupied with other matters. Bernard can be found upstairs at the Healers' House on the west side of the Great Market district in Aleroth during the events of Divinity II: Flames of Vengeance. You can find a copy of a Therapy Report he wrote in his room at the Healers' House.

- Bernard was a British Railway experimental engine built in 1939 who was going to be sent off to help pull goods and soldiers in WW2, but had a failed valve gear, and with money going off to WW2, they couldn't mend him, so they left him to rust in a small siding. In 1949, an LNER Workman, Coll Ridemeir, from Scotland found him, under a lot of grass that grew over him. He was repaired and brought onto the LNER mainline with several modifications, such as new buffers, new square front windows, a new valve gear, and some shiny LNER Apple Green Paint.
