His men took over Vic's lounge and turned it into a casino, which was run by Frankie Eyes and Tony Cicci. Carl Zeemo was played by Marc Lawrence. According to the script, Mister Zeemo was described as "a wizened, old gangster, who's only gotten more dangerous with age." Additionally, his last name was pronounced as "zee-mo". [1]

Gerne schmückt er sich mit schönen Frauen wie mit seiner Begleiterin Nina. Zeemo kauft das Hotel, in dem sich Vic Fontaine's Lounge befindet. Er übergibt die Leitung des Hotels, der Lounge und des Spielkasinos an Frank Chalmers. Carl selbst bleibt im Hintergrund und will nur den Gewinn einfahren. Vic Fontaine rechnet dabei mit etwa einer Million Dollar im Monat. Um Frankie und dessen Freund Tony Cicci wieder loszuwerden, planen Vic und seine Freunde einen Raub. Sie erfahren, dass Zeemo selbst nach Las Vegas kommt, um sein Geld abzuholen. Deshalb wollen sie Frank das Geld abnehmen, um ihn vor seinem Boss bloßzustellen. Während der Plan für den Raub ausgeführt wird, kommt es zu Komplikationen. Eine davon ist das unerwartete frühe Auftauchen von Carl Zeemo mit seinen Begleitern und Nina. Zuerst versucht Kira, die Frank vom Zählraum abhalten soll, Zeemo zu stoppen. Doch dieser ist ganz und gar nicht an einem Gespräch mit der Frau interessiert. Stattdessen will er selbst sofort zum Zählraum. Als Vic und Benjamin Sisko dies mitbekommen, versucht der Sänger selbst, Zeemo aufzuhalten. Er wendet sich an dessen Begleiterin und behauptet, Nina zu kennen und sich an ihren Auftritt im Bikini in Miami zu erinnern. Zeemo ist davon gar nicht begeistert und als Vic die Frau fragt, ob Carl ihr Großvater sei, hat der genug. Er fordert Frankie auf, Vic wegzuschaffen und dieser gibt Tony den Auftrag, diesen zu ermorden. Um dies zu verhindern und um Nog und Odo, die dabei sind, das Geld im Zählraum zu stehlen, mehr Zeit zu geben, reagiert Sisko schnell. Er wirft sein Geld in die Luft und lenkt so die Aufmerksamkeit auf sich. Für Zeemo ist dies unfassbar. Es hilft allerdings Vic, da Tony sich von dem Geld ablenken lässt. Auch Nog und Odo können den Zählraum nach erfolgreichem Einsatz unbemerkt mit dem Geld verlassen. Als Zeemo mit Frankie endlich im Zählraum ist, will dieser ihm sogleich das Geld zeigen. Doch der Safe ist leer. Da Frankie nicht weiß, wo das Geld ist, wird er von Zeemo selbst zur Verantwortung gezogen und zusammen mit Tony aus dem Kasino geführt. The jack-in-the-box self-terminated after the subroutine was defeated by Vic and company, when they robbed the casino. After Zeemo discovered the safe was empty, he and his men escorted Frankie Eyes and Tony Cicci out of the casino. The program than returned to as it was before.
