Although both Ranma and Akane ignore Kuno's declaration, that evening the two of them are forced by their father's to take part on the Martial Arts Takeout race taking place next Sunday. Once the race begins Ranma and Shampoo quickly take the lead. The pair then decide to make things more interesting by Ranma agreeing that she'll date Shampoo should she lose. However, despite Shampoo's best attempts of sabotage, Ranma, Akane and Shampoo arrive at Kuno's house simultaneously, meaning that whoever's order Kuno eats first will be declared the winner. The trio then waste no time in trying to ruin the other's orders until finally Kuno eats the pigtail girl's water sodden noodles, resulting in her victory.
