  • Due to being a master shape shifter it would be almost imposible to name all of Nyarlathotep's transformation however, their are two which he takes on more then the others. The first is a tanned skinned man with black hair and golden eyes. He usually dresses as an Egyptian Pharaoh. He wears all golden armor that covers his legs and arms. But leaves his chest open. The armor has blue designs on it as well. His other appearance has been stated to look almost exactly like Nico causing some people to confuse the two. Which one of them despise while the other finds hilarious.
  • Nyarlathotep was one of the Great Old Ones given its name in the present universe by Rassilon. (PROSE: Divided Loyalties) He was considered the darkest and greatest of the Old Ones. Elektra, who despised Nyarlathotep most of all, hoped her child, Kronos, would be the champion of a united universe against him and his kind. (PROSE: The Quantum Archangel) The Seventh Doctor told Bernice Summerfield that he sincerely hoped never to meet Nyarlathotep. (PROSE: All-Consuming Fire)
  • Nyarlathotep is the true name of one of the Archdemons of the Netherworld. In particular, he is Asmodeus' second-in-command. He is one of the archvillains of the Tetraverse story. Nyarlathotep travels to many reaches of the cosmos to cause chaos and havoc among different civilizations. His goal is directly opposed to that of the Almarians - he seeks to corrupt civilizations that they wish to protect. In this sense, Nyarlathotep is more directly involved in the Great War than his master.
  • Nyarlathotep, known to many by his epithet The Crawling Chaos, is an Outer God in the Cthulhu Mythos. He is the spawn of Azathoth. He is the creation of H. P. Lovecraft and first appeared in his prose poem "Nyarlathotep" (1920). Nyarlathotep appears in numerous subsequent stories by Lovecraft, and is also featured in the works of other authors, as well as in role-playing games based on the Cthulhu Mythos.
  • Nyarlathotep is the king of the Fledglings and the most powerful threat to ever challenge the Rippers. He is also the entity within the Omen itself. While Azathoth may be the most powerful thing in the universe, he was unaware of the danger he posed. Nyarlathotep, on the other hand, is a far more malign entity. He sets out to bring darkness and emptiness to the universe, to hold dominance as the ultimate power and above even his masters, the Outer Gods.

Don't get distracted by the flower, you'll just end up as fertilizer! It's also a real nightmare for people with allergies to pollen. ...By the way, why do you suppose the Princess-Deity of the Black Lily appeared after we defeated it? It's so confusing, my SAN points are dropping." File:90.jpg
  • Nyarlathotep (ニャルラトホテプ, Nyaruratohotepu)? is a demon in the series.
  • Nyarlathotep differs from the other beings in a number of ways. Most of them are exiled to stars, like Yog-Sothoth and Hastur, or sleeping and dreaming like Cthulhu; Nyarlathotep, however, is active and frequently walks the Earth in the guise of a human being, usually a tall, slim, joyous man. Most of them have their own cults serving them, while Nyarlathotep seems to serve them and take care of their affairs in their absence. Most of them use strange alien languages, while Nyarlathotep uses human languages and can be mistaken for a human being. Finally, most of them are all powerful yet purposeless, yet Nyarlathotep seems to be deliberately deceptive and manipulative, and even uses propaganda to achieve his goals. In this regard, he is probably the most human-like among them.

  • Nyarlathotep... the crawling chaos... I am the last... I will tell the audient void.... I do not recall distinctly when it began, but it was months ago. The general tension was horrible. To a season of political and social upheaval was added a strange and brooding apprehension of hideous physical danger; a danger widespread and all-embracing, such a danger as may be imagined only in the most terrible phantasms of the night. I recall that the people went about with pale and worried faces, and whispered warnings and prophecies which no one dared consciously repeat or acknowledge to himself that he had heard. A sense of monstrous guilt was upon the land, and out of the abysses between the stars swept chill currents that made men shiver in dark and lonely places. There was a daemoniac alterati
  • Character created by H.P. Lovecraft. "Messenger and soul of the Great Old Ones" (he was also frequently associated with a nebulous set of Other Gods - possibly to be identified as the Great Old Ones or Outer Gods, and was also a protector of the Great Ones, the gods of Earth's Dreamlands and antiquity). Said to have a thousand forms: The Encyclopedia Cthulhiana hypothesizes that King in Yellow could be an avatar of Nyarlathotep rather than Hastur. In Fungi From Yuggoth he is described as wearing red and is implied to be the messenger of Azathoth. In his form as The Black Man he is depicted as being totally black in colour.
  • Nyarlathotep is one of the big baddies of the Cthulhu Mythos. He appears to have a finger (claw, tentacle, whatever) in the goings on. Bloodworm took Nyarlathotep as his cult name, and wound up suffering a fate worse than death as a result of the attempt to sacrifice Sara Waite -- such fate involving being trapped in Nyarlathotep's clutches, his soul, and a straw. There are suggestions that Nyarlathotep is using what's left of the unfortunate wight to further some plan of his own. There are several bits of this particular thread scattered through different stories, including the first scene in Insanity Prerequisite I, the last scene in Insanity Prerequisite IV, a scene where something escapes from a crypt in one of the Insanity Prerequisite stories, and a mention in Petra 1: Rock and a Har
