Matt McCoy is an American actor who was the second to portray Lloyd Braun on Seinfeld; he appeared in "The Gum" and "The Serenity Now". Matt has appeared in a number of other films and television programs such as L.A. Confidential, Murder, She Wrote, The Golden Girls, Six Feet Under, Harry and the Hendersons along with many more. He appeared in two of Police Academy’s seven films; he portrayed Nick Lassard, nephew of Commandant Eric Lassard (played by George Gaynes of Punky Brewster). The first actor who portrayed Lloyd Braun was Peter Keleghan.

McCoy starred as Sergeant Nick Lassard in two Police Academy films, both of which also starred Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and VOY guest actor David Graf. The first was Police Academy 5: Assignment: Miami Beach in 1988, which also featured Rene Auberjonois. That same year, he and Auberjonois co-starred together in an episode of Murder, She Wrote. The following year came Police Academy 6: City Under Siege, which also featured the likes of Kenneth Mars, Arthur Batanides, and Darryl Henriques.
