abstract	Zyle Chark was a former Jedi Knight of the Jedi Order who was born onCoruscant during the Jedi Order's era of peace. Zyle barely knew his parents as they both died when he was very young. Zyle escaped the custody of the Coruscant police and lived his life as an orphan. Zyle knew everything about the underworld of Coruscant. He survived due to stealing, street smarts, joining local gangs and (though he didn't know it) his connection to the Force. At age 14, Chark was discovered by Jedi Knight Kaikos Kane in the underworld. Kane had wanted a Padawan that was older and more outgoing. Chark was excited to become a Jedi and planned to give all his fellow friend orphans good homes. As he begun his training however, he learned that was not how the Jedi Order did things. Zyle was unconcerned however as his friends had liked living as orphans. Zyle was an average Padawan in his master's eyes! One of their first missions was to a planet called Ruusan which had been the site of many events over millenia ago. They stopped a group of Dark Jedi from remaking an ancient weapon. When the Dark War began, Zyle was 16. His master was one of the most selected masters to take place in battles where Zyle also joined him. The two were the ones to call if a planet was under fire! Zyle was later put on the waiting list for Padawans to become Knights after the war. This and Kaikos' encouraging, motivated Chark to fight harder. His master was also on the waiting list to become a master. Thus Zyle was considered an honorary Knight if not an official one. Even though he technically was a Knight, Zyle still chose to fight by his masters side. However, near wars end came the moment that would change Zyle. 21 years into the war, Kaikos met his end at the Battle of Ryloth. The explosion that engulfed him also engulfed Zyle and his task force. Zyle was listed as KIA and was carved into the Jedi Knight Memorial in the Room of a Thousand Fountains. About 9 years after the war, Zyle remerged, a broken, mad, powerful man. On revenge for unknown reasons only to himself, he recreated the Weapon of Spirits and started a crisis. 3 years later in 228 ABY Zyle was defeated by Leliaa Golde and his mad crisis stopped.
