Quakers get their name from a "quaking" sensation that they experience during meeting for worship. This "quaking" motivates them to speak to the group about their thoughts. Quakers accept all kind of people, and mainly try to look for the light of God in everybody. They are sometimes ridiculed for their quiet meeting ceremonies and lack of pastors, but are considered a religion by most people. Quakers have done a great deal of good, for example opposing slavery and working for prison reform.
