- Blackheart is a demonic entity from Marvel comics and the son of Mephisto, as such he is a creature of immense supernatural power and pure evil that is comparable to an arch-demon in status: although not quite as powerful as his father, Blackheart is more than a match for any of Earth's heroes and has faced many of Marvel's greatest heroes in battle.
- Blackheart is yet another demon that got out of Hell (somebody has got to seal that place for good). He is most well known for his frightening hair that makes even Yugi Moto's hair look like a mohawk. Despite his name, Blackheart doesn't really have a black heart, its more like a lime green color. He has fought nearly every single Marvel superhero, but he really considers himself to be a rival of Ghost Rider. He has a strong history with Ghost Rider starting on that faithful that he met the flaming skeleton.

- Centuries of murder in a locale named Christ's Crown, New York, draws the attention of a demon-lord, Mephisto, who created a "son", Blackheart, from the energy of the accumulated evil. Blackheart explored the nature of evil under his father's tutelage, clashing with and failing to corrupt Daredevil and Spider-Man. Mephisto and Blackheart once tormented Daredevil, Brandy Ash, the genetically engineered Number Nine, and the Inhumans Gorgon, Karnak, and Ahura, manipulating their emotions and tricking them. They were soon drawn into hell for worse torments. Brandy Ash did not survive. Later, in an attempt to be free of captivity, Blackheart makes contact with Misha from the group Warheads and becomes the source of her pre-cognitive visions. Eventually Misha's squad, Kether Troop, invades Hell
- Blackheart is found in the center of the Blackheart's Bay battleground. He is the person players will want to see when turning in your doubloons, however giving him the doubloons take a 6 second channel, giving the opposing team a lot of opportunities to interrupt - any damage taken immediately interrupts the channel. The first team to give Blackheart 10 doubloons wins Blackheart's favor assisting them for a short duration of time. While assisting his favored team his Ghost Pirate Ship trains its cannons at the opposing team's fortifications, each shot dealing massive amounts of damage to both buildings and heroes unfortunate enough to be caught in the blast. After 12 shots, 3 per building, he becomes neutral and is available for hire again.
