Clark "Buster" Beasley was a biker and part of a biker gang before returning and settling back with his family in his home town of Grantville prior to the Ring of Fire. Buster had opened a self-storage lot, and Mayor Henry Dreeson and Police Chief Dan Frost suspected that at least some of his activities were illegitimate. However, given his impeccable tax returns before the RoF, they were unable to act on those suspicions. After the RoF, he had called the Emergency Committee and opened a few lots which provided very useful counterfeit-brand car and truck parts. Despite his seemingly criminal background, Buster is a caring man and protective of his wife and daughter Denise.

He died during the "Dreeson Incident", as a result of injuries he received while defending Grantville's Jewish synagogue. His funeral was held at an old movie theater, conducted by Jenny Maddox.
