Sheri Joyner was the 19th Governor-General of New Englia and a former governor. She chose to retire and not seek a 4th term in office. She currently lives in her summer home at Northport on Fire Island. Joyner holds the distinction of being the oldest living Governor-General and claimed the title of longest living when she turned 91. On January 23, 2911 she died after suffering from a heart attack and is buried in Lucas National Cemetary.
