- A huge dragon that lives in outer space! His body contains super-heavy material that can absorb time and space. Fragments of this material form a black hole that can absorb any shot!
- "Space Dragon" refers to pterosaur-like sentient beings that are alluded to in the Captain N: The Game Master comic Breakout, as well as the manga Metroid EX. Both of these sources are not considered canon. Ridley, a common antagonist in the Metroid series, is the only purported individual of the species to appear in the canon of the series. Whether he is canonically part of this race is unknown.
- (Currently being remodeled to import canon information from the book) The Draconizican Empire is an advanced race of sapient Dragons, dating as far back to the birth of the universe. They are the second species in the Unity of Three. They have grown into an intelligent race, being able to construct cities, ships, weapons and methods of transportation. They have many species, including bipedal dragons that are able to stand upright and shifters whom can take human form and shift into a dragon. They take interest in science and experimentation and have countless planets under their control. They are docile, calm, and nice, unlike their rivals, the Crotonians. To recuperate from the war with the Crotonians, a small squadron of their empire sought Earth during its Pre-Cambrian era and settled
- "Space Dragons" are a rather enigmatic race, of which the infamous Ridley is the only known member. Very little is known about them, but it is speculated that they are natural to Lower Norfair within the former planet Zebes. The entire species minus Ridley himself were eradicated by a huge genocidal attack by the Galactic Federation, who had deemed them to be too dangerous to be allowed to continue existing. It is of note that the Galactic Federation tend to use the term "Geoform 187" as opposed to "Space Dragon" when in reference to them - although it is currently unknown whether this actually refers to just Ridley or the entire species as a whole.
