An on monster hit item property is an on-hit property that is intended to simulate special properties of a monster's natural attacks. Consequentially, these are restricted to creature weapons. They are similar in some respects to general on-hit properties, but with fewer options and with duration and DCs based on the possessing creature's hit dice rather than being directly set by the module builder. The amount of level drain and wounding can be set from 1 to 5 for each creature.
