| - Mr. Hector is the secondary antagonist of Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. He works as the personal concierge at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. He is played by actor Tim Curry. He serves as a supporting antagonist. Mr. Hector is a very pompous and sly individual, and a bit of a bully. He thought Kevin had stolen his dad's credit card after he made a Grinch smile. He treated Kevin like a criminal (and like a third one, when he heard of the two who were chasing him) and to make matters worse, Kevin was chased by Harry and Marv and when heasked for help, Mr. Hector didn't care because he was still thinking about the credit card being stolen by Kevin). Kevin escaped by using the film Angels with Even Filthier Souls. The film aided Kevin to make outside characters think there were adults in the hotel room he was staying at one point in the movie. He later offered Kevin's parents a complimentary suite while they were there - a penthouse with a view of the park that was recently vacated by the Countess of Worcestershire. When they confronted him, he was proud he discovered that the credit card was stolen. (However, he forgot to tell them that Kevin was chased by two people.) Kate blames him for making Kevin leave. However, she slaps him for trying to keep her from going out to look for Kevin and for causing him to leave. Embarrassed, he fought back tears as he advised her to brace herself for the cold weather. He was always curious about Kevin as he entered the lobby.
