The Butterfly XT by Duncan is a yo-yo first released in 2012 as part of the Hardcore series. It is a remake of the original Butterfly. This yo-yo features a take-apart design with a large C-bearing, but instead of response pads or O-rings like most ball bearing yo-yos, it uses a traditional starburst response system. The XT also features the same type of modular side cap system as the FH Zero, allowing the user to modify the look of his yo-yo with caps from most other models in the Hardcore series. However, the caps are of a different molding than most others, and cannot be fitted with narrower-bodied yo-yos, such as the Pro Z or the Hornet.
