Abafar was a remote desert planet located within the Outer Rim Territories, and was host to massive amounts of rhydonium, a scarce and volatile fuel source. The large desert was known as the Void, and light was twisted in a way that made it impossible to see tracks because there were no shadows. During the Clone Wars, the Confederacy of Independent Systems set up a mining installation in the settlement of Pons Ora. The planet wasn't very populated.

- [Source] Abafar est une planète peu connue et peu habitée de la Bordure Extérieure. Durant la Guerre des Clones, la D-Squad se retrouva bloquée sur cette planète, elle y retrouva un commando clone amnésique nommé Gregor exploité par le cuisinier Borkus au Power Sliders. Il les aida à repartir de cette planète en attaquant les droïdes de combat de la Confédération des Systèmes Indépendants présent sur la planète pour extraire du rhydonium hautement explosif. Finalement la D-Squad repartit grâce à Gregor qui fut laissé pour mort à cause d'une explosion.
