The Kiddie Standard is one of two poles you can choose to use when you begin Wahwahport - the other is the Oak Twig. The poles, originally costing higher on the day of release, started at the old values you see. Both Wahwah Poles were 1 million gold each and decreased every hour by 8k. The addons decreased an additional 2k per add-on after each hour(10-14k).

abstract
| - The Kiddie Standard is one of two poles you can choose to use when you begin Wahwahport - the other is the Oak Twig. The poles, originally costing higher on the day of release, started at the old values you see. Both Wahwah Poles were 1 million gold each and decreased every hour by 8k. The addons decreased an additional 2k per add-on after each hour(10-14k). The poles will continue to get cheaper until they equal their hourly decrease cost. The initial start price serves to both a) discourage rushing for those who can't afford or wish to spend the gold and b) Create a "gold suck" - or a means to draw millions of gold unnecessarily from players except to hold up the value of the currency and keep it from being continuously farmed.
