In Go Set a Watchman (ISBN 9780062409850) Harper Lee tells the story of Jean Louise "Scout" Finch's return to her childhood home in Alabama. While this book was actually written before To Kill a Mockingbird (published in 1960), the story's plot is set about two decades later, and it was not published until 55 years later. Both books are told from Scout's point of view, and both deal with racism. While in To Kill a Mockingbird Scout is only just becoming aware of the different ways people are treated, in Go Set a Watchman she is very aware, but unsure of how to react.
