  • His human body died after body was infused with cosmic radiation and became an Energy Consciousness that integrated itself in Superman's DNA Birthing Matrix and created a cyborg body from its knowledge. He is a villain to both Superman and Green Lantern (Hal Jordan).
  • Cyborg Superman is the evil counterpart to Superman as well as his enemy. He is also known as Hank Henshaw. Using Kryptonian technology and genetics, he takes on the identity as Cyborg Superman and seeks revenge on Superman. Cyborg Superman later became an enemy of the Green Lantern Corps and fought them multiple times. In the New 52, Hank Henshaw is seen as fully human and his time as Cyborg Superman has been completely retconned. Supergirl's father Zor-El instead becomes the new Cyborg Superman.
  • Hank Henshaw gained abilities from a radiation incident during spaceflight, which caused the death of his wife and friends. His physical body decayed from the radiation's effects, and his mind was converted to an electric consciousness. Hank would learn to use this form to inhabit, create, and manipulate machines using advanced cyberpathy, a byproduct of learning that his existence in an electronic state left him unable to die.
  • Cyborg Superman, also known as Hank Henshaw, is an evil supervillain who resembles a cybernetic version of Superman. He has all of Superman's powers as well as the ability to control and manipulate all forms of machinery and technology. After a failed attempt to turn Earth into a new Warworld, he escaped into space, piggybacking on Doomsday's body in a microchip he planted there while the creature was "dead". After that, he briefly took over Apokolips before being overthrown yet again. (Superman/Doomsday: Hunter/Prey)
