| - James Cameron is a three-time Oscar winning director, editor, and producer best known for his epic special effects spectacles. All three of his Academy Awards were in acknowledgement of his achievements on Titanic, though he was nominated again in the same three categories for Avatar. He has also directed several other Oscar-nominated and -winning films including Aliens, The Abyss, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, and True Lies.
