Of all the fortifications scattered across the land of Evesham, Locke's Crossing has the most infamous reputation. Lying on a narrow strip of land, strategically built upon the border between Caêrfaen and Evesham, the fortress stands proudly as a symbol of defiance against the elven attackers. Built roughly ten years ago by the Order of the Red Dragon and funded by the Baron himself, in its’ short lifetime the fortress has changed hands no less than six times.

Built roughly ten years ago by the Order of the Red Dragon and funded by the Baron himself, in its’ short lifetime the fortress has changed hands no less than six times. The fortress of Locke's Crossing is enshrined in many tales and songs within both the barony of Evesham and the city-state of Caêrfaen. During the war between the two sides, Locke's Crossing was a hotly-contested strategic point that oversaw the chokepoint of land between the two regions. Many lost their lives trying to take or hold the fortress and, at night, tales tell of a battle that still continues beyond the veil of death between the two sides.
