Tlaa were a species of sentients of an unknown homeworld. They physically appeared as floating spheres of white fire, though when one died or was knocked unconscious, their true form emerged. They were actually small crystals with two eyes who created the fire to keep dangerous creatures away. All Tlaa were Force-sensitive, though until their discovery by other species after they arrived on Nubia in about 78 ABY, they never realized how powerful their Force could be.
