| - The National Intelligence Service is the national intelligence agency of the East Asian Federation, including military intelligence. The agency was founded in 1997 to fill a growing need for counter-intelligence operations domestically and internationally in the face of rising regional tensions. It is currently under the administration of the State Office for Defense, but a reorganization effective January 1, 2012 will see it passed into the control of the new State Office for Information, and military intelligence operations split off into the new 37th Signals Intelligence Division of the Federation Air Forces.
