abstract
  • The 2012 United States Presidential Election is the fifty-seventh election held to determine the leader of the United States of America. The two major candidates are incumbent Nationalist Tom Hanks, and Socialist candidate, Vermont Governor Kenny Rogers. The memory's of the abuse of power in the Rodham Administration is still considered to have reduced the chances of Roger's candidacy, despite his distance from Federal politics. As well, the successful intervention in Mexico by Hanks, as well as the booming economy, are currently considered to be game winners by Hanks, despite a tight Socialist campaign and a few slip-ups by the Nationalist Party over social issues including gay/lesbian/transgender rights, and the dormant, but explosive, abortion issue. However, this did little to stop the Hanks/Ford Ticket from easily winning over Rogers/Gillibrand.
