Susan "Susie" Swanson is the daughter of Joe and Bonnie Swanson. Like Stewie, she is intelligent enough to understand everything that's going on around her. Unlike Stewie, she can't talk out loud, but she can talk in her head. In her head, she has the voice of Patrick Stewart. She also has the same personality traits as him, too. So, she's basically Patrick Stewart trapped inside the mind of a baby girl.

It is unknown who took care of her while her parents were guests at James Woods's mansion in "And Then There Were Fewer", as she was not brought with them. In "Road to the North Pole", she is seen in her highchair at the dinner table on Christmas Eve when her parents explain their Christmas wishes during "All I Really Want For Christmas". Her mother is holding her during Brian Griffin's plea on Quahog 5 News on Christmas morning. In the 10 years before her birth the only time she ever made a movement inside Bonnie's uterus was when she kicked Peter in "Lethal Weapons". She never met her older brother, Kevin Swanson, who was reported as MIA while serving in Iraq before Susie was born until "Thanksgiving". Susie turns 1 in "He's Bla-ack!" as Peter and Cleveland have to deal with their wives feuding. The Swansons take Susie to an audition at the Quahog Mall in "The Peanut Butter Kid" for a national peanut putter commercial, although Stewie ends up with the part. Patrick Stewart gives voice to Susie's inner monologues in "The Hand That Rocks the Wheelchair", "Thanksgiving", "Internal Affairs", and in "Joe's Revenge".
