The 8-Z Banshee is the personal project of Marie Blackwood that is shrouded in secrecy and intrigue to those both in and out of Nova Drive. Ostensibly, the Banshee is the full-fledged starfighter version of the 7-Z Thranta, sporting a heavy armament and heavy shielding. So far, only a few of them have been produced and are being tested by the Nova Knights. The few Banshees seen by outside speculators have thought it to be the company's competitor to the XG-1 Starwing or the aging Y-wing. Thoughts about the ship differ within the company itself, and many say the project has become an obsession of their CEO and is somehow related to her father's disappearance. The Blackwoods have kept their lips shut on the matter, and the few Banshees are continually being modified and testing at all hours
