abstract	The Numinator, born Maigraith, was the lieutenant of Faelamor, who unbeknownst to her was her paternal grandmother. Faelamor mated her son, Galgilliel, with the blending, Aeolior, the daughter of Faelamor's arch-nemesis Yalkara and her lover Gyllias, resulting in Maigraith's birth as a triune. A master of the Secret Art, Maigraith was the lover of Yggur for a brief time and the love of Rulke's life. Her union with Rulke resulted in the birth of twins, Illiel and Rulken, though he died not long after their conception. Through Illiel she became the grandmother to Liel and through Rulken the grandmother to Gilhaelith. Maigraith cast off her name and became the Numinator after Rulke's death. She created the Council of Scrutators and became the effective ruler of Santhenar, though she took little part in day to day affairs. Using the Council she gained information on every single human being on Santhenar, so as to be able to breed the appropriate people and create the perfect quartine species, as a memorial to Rulke. However, after centuries of dedication to this project, the nodes of power were destroyed; severly weakening the Numinator's Art, while the Council of Scrutator's was dissolved, effectively removing her from power. Jal-Nish Hlar soon declared himself God-Emperor of Santhenar, while the Numinator hid herself, and the remains of her realm, from his notice.
