Kentell Leknar was a human, Iktotchi hybrid. Due the unaccepted union of her parents, she and her family were banished from their community and heritage, forced to live outside society, within the Iktotch wilderness. At a young age Leknar displayed remarkable abilities, one of which was an uncanny aptitude for telepathy; which in due time was noticed by a Jedi master named Hariah Vainarh. Upon Hariahs arrival and with her parents blessing Leknar freely left with the Jedi master to begin training as a Jedi on Coruscant. Due the unaccepted union of her parents, she and her family were banished from their community and heritage, forced to live outside society, within the Iktotch wilderness. At a young age Leknar displayed remarkable abilities, one of which was an uncanny aptitude for telepathy; which in due time was noticed by a Jedi master named Hariah Vainarh. Upon Hariahs arrival and with her parents blessing Leknar freely left with the Jedi master to begin training as a Jedi on Coruscant. Although Kentell quickly rose in skill, she struggled with deep insecurities, and at times uncontrollable empathy. Early in her training she was said to have formed a detrimental habit of reading the minds of those around her in attempts to heal the brokenness she would sense within; this manipulation despite its compassionate intentions was immediately halted by the elders in the Order. In spite of the scars from this set back Kentell fast became a formidable and well accomplished Jedi, competing her trials after saving the life’s of a number of refuges who had been taken captive by a Yuuzhan Vong pirate; one of the life’s, being that of her master. Leknar went on to earn the ranks of both Jedi Weapon Master and Jedi Healer; she also accomplished many missions and trials. Kentell went on to mentor several Padawan and upon her solo victory at the seven suns halo, was granted the rank of High Jedi General.
