- Elysian was a planet colonized by humans early in the Diaspora of Man. Its ecology was devastated when a number of mistakes where made during the colonization; as a result, the Elysian Rule was created to protect foreign lifeforms from unnecessary harm. (HHA1.1: ABF)
- Elysian is a prefix for Magic Items and Rare Items. It is directed towards physical fighters, and makes them more effective against Demons. It is the strongest magic item modifier that gives bonuses to demons, and that can be found on both magic and rare items.
- Elysians are a humanoid alien species. They first are shown in the form of a strange young man who appears and pushes Dylan Hunt to his death. Later on he reveals himself to be Elysian. He describes his kind as a radio signal, and each body is an antenna to that signal. Apparently, they are a race of one in all worlds, one for every and all universes and aware of each other. They can jump from body to body as they see fit.
- The Elysians were the sentient, robotic inhabitants of SkyTown, high above the clouds of Elysia. They were constructed by the Chozo for the purpose of aiding their creators in maintaining SkyTown. To better assist the Chozo, the bird-like creatures also made the Elysians sentient. The last Elysian lore entry states that most of them were corrupted and there were only a handful that remained. It is also implied that the rest soon were corrupted or died. Helios or the Steamlords may represent corrupted Elysians.
- The Elysians were a secret sect within the Time Lords. They were clones created from the Time Lord Academy dropout Xanti, the son of Uriel. They were made secretly by Overseer Luther. These clones were part of a plan by Luther to take the Watchtower and rewrite history, turning himself into a god to rule Gallifrey. This led to Xanti discovering he was being stalked by the Elysians. He believed only the Eighth Doctor could save him. When the Doctor arrived, the Elysians teleported in and tried to kill him but the agent Shayde saved him, gunning down one of the assassins. The others escaped with Xanti and Izzy Sinclair.
