Crandor is located off of the coast of Misthalin. It is a main part in the Dragon Slayer quest as the lair to Elvarg. The island has an abundance of mines that are rarely used because of the distance to the bank. It is also inhabited by some high levelled monsters such as a Lesser demon. There is a shipwreck on the north east coast of the island, which is the Lady Lumbridge that crashes during Dragon Slayer. Ned can be found on that boat during and after the quest but he an also be found in his house in Draynor.

- Crandor was a strange world in Sector 12. It may have been an artificial planet. It was either at the centre of an unusual black hole, or simply appeared to be as a result of the Thaarn's gravity generator. Crandor appeared to exist in a state of permanent darkness, although there was a breathable atmosphere and normal gravity. Parts of its surface were littered with scrap and rubble, the remains of ships and asteroids cannibalised for herculanium and other vital elements.
- According to the Guildmaster in the Champions' Guild, Crandor was once a "thriving community". When players return to him after speaking with Oziach, he goes into a detailed explanation of what transpired: The Guildmaster also mentions that one needs to find a "ship made to the old Crandorian design", which hints that the Crandorians were proficient shipbuilders, considering they needed to navigate reefs. Furthermore, Duke Horacio also mentions Crandor when the player requests an Anti-dragon shield from him:
