abstract	Sosar Drif was a male Arcona who served in the Republic Navy during the Mandalorian Wars, Jedi Civil War, and Dark Wars. Born a single child on Cona, Sosar eventually grew tired of the communal nature of the Arcona and enlisted in the military as a means to not only serve, but also to explore and see the galaxy. He completed his training and earned the position as a starfighter pilot two years before the Mandalorian Wars. Sosar proved a capable pilot, flying during a number of battles, such as the Battle of Vanquo, Battle of Serroco, Second Battle of Dxun, in which Sosar was shot down. Although crticially wounded, the Arcona survived on the jungle moon's surface long enough to be rescued by Republic forces. One year later, he was flying again, in the final battle at Malachor V. With the outbreak of the Jedi Civil War, in which former Jedi Knights and war-heroes Revan and Malak returned as Sith intent on conquering the Republic, Sosar once again served. He would later recount that, in his opinion, the Jedi Civil War was much more brutal than the Mandalorian Wars, as it frequently pitted former comrades and servicemen against each other. When the Sith Triumvirate instigated the Dark Wars, Sosar was once again called into duty. He served up until the Battle of Telos IV, where he was killed in action, shot down protecting the devastated world from the Sith fleet.
