Two years later, he read out further charges against a Street resident when Jerry Booth appeared in court of a charge of assaulting Stan Ogden's friend Jim Stoker. Harris offered Jerry the choice of being tried at the Magistrates' Court or by jury, to which Jerry chose the latter. In this instance, Jerry was found guilty and given a conditional discharge for twelve months. Credited as "Clerk of Court" in his 1969 appearances and "Clerk of the Court" in his 1971 appearances. The character's surname was given in dialogue in Episode 1124.
