  • The village of Covia was established in the Pelagirs region in an area monitored by the Tayledras Clan k'Treva. In the time of Herald-Mage Vanyel, this was well outside the borders of Valdemar. In exchange for manufactured goods and protection, Covia supplied the Tayledras with food and raw materials. Covia was one of the first places taken by Krebain when he began increasing his territory beyond his personal stronghold. He demonstrated his power by burning down the village inn with magic. When the people tried to send for help, he captured, tortured and impaled the messenger on the road leading into the village. Krebain then began taking villagers, one by one, to fuel his blood-magic. After Vanyel destroyed Krebain, k'Treva sent Journeymen to help the village recover.
