Taken in by the beast riders, he was raised by an elderly woman named Silverclaw, whom he called Caretaker. Growing up within a village, Alaric was trained by Volden on survival skills and basic combat techniques. His days were spent training, hunting, and enjoying a life of normalcy to some extent. His education was normal to that of other children within the village. Of course in his spare time he would read and further his knowledge, which often put him ahead of some of the other students.
