abstract
| - Rovers returned to winning ways after two straight defeats thanks to a 5–2 thumping of Rotherham United at the Mem. The result was Paul Buckle's biggest win to date as Bristol Rovers' manager and the game saw a first team debut for on-loan Leicester City midfielder Oliver Norburn. There was also a place on the Rotherham bench for former Pirates loanee goalkeeper Conrad Logan, and they also included future loan player Guy Branston in their starting eleven. Two goals from Scott McGleish and one from Cian Bolger gave Rovers a 3–0 advantage after 32 minutes, but Rotherham pulled two back through Jason Taylor and Danny Schofield. Guy Branston's 57th-minute sending off made things a little easier for the Gas though, enabling Lee Brown and substitute Joe Anyinsah to put the game beyond Rotherham's reach.
