Corrupted Leaves can be found on the Corruption layer attached to strands of Corrupted Wood in the shape of small treetops, some of these growing on the floor or from ponds of Corrupted Water, some hanging from the ceiling. Many of these treetops are rather hard to reach because of this. Theses Leaves make excellent Fuel for the Forge with a good heating factor providing quick progress, even though 4 of them have to be used up at a time for each process of smelting, baking, melting or hardening.

  • Corrupted Leaves can be found on the Corruption layer attached to strands of Corrupted Wood in the shape of small treetops, some of these growing on the floor or from ponds of Corrupted Water, some hanging from the ceiling. Many of these treetops are rather hard to reach because of this. Theses Leaves make excellent Fuel for the Forge with a good heating factor providing quick progress, even though 4 of them have to be used up at a time for each process of smelting, baking, melting or hardening. Corrupted Leaves can only be harvested by having either a Diamond Mining Cell or a Lumite Mining Cell equipped - both of which will lose durability by taking/mining these corrupted blocks. Currently all kinds of corrupted creatures as well as Diamond Treasure Chests are able to spawn on these Leaves (not only Corrupted Leafies any longer), as long as the area is not illuminated by artificial lighting (nor sunlight). These natural blocks can be purified by placing at least one Healing Beacon close by or by throwing Purification Bombs at them - by that Corrupted Leaves will turn into Cragwood Leaves (just like natural Corrupted Wood will turn into Cragwood. In return, most leaves - except for Parchwood Leaves - can currently (as of R29 in February 2016) be corrupted into Corrupted Leaves by throwing Corrupt Bombs at them. In earlier versions of Creativerse is was possible to corrupt Leaves by pouring Corrupted Water on them or placing them into this liquid, but this is no longer the case. Also touching solid corrupted blocks is not sufficient to corrupt ordinary Leaves. As a speciality Ashenwood Leaves will turn into Corrupted Ashenwood Leaves and Elderwood Leaves will turn into Corrupted Elderwood Leaves. These will also return to their original state when being purified, while all other types of Corrupted Leaves will become Cragwood Leaves when purified, even if they had been Weepwood Leaves, Shorewood Leaves, Wildwood Leaves, Dark Wildwood Leaves or Autumnwood Leaves before becoming corrupted. Corrupted Leaves can turn most kinds of Wood blocks into Corrupted Wood if placed together and touching each other. Logs will stay unfaced by this though. On artificial "biomes" or rather arenas (like platforms of only 1 block "height") made from a large enough amount of Corrupted Leaves all kinds of corrupted creatures as well as Diamond Treasure Chests have a chance of spawning as long as no sunlight nor artificial light is illuminating the area.
